The Stanford Blood Center will be hosting a blood drive at Gunn High School on March 23 (Friday) between the hours of 8:30 am and 2:30 pm. It will be on campus at the Student Activities Center (SAC). All donors should bring an official ID card with them. Drinks and snacks will be served by volunteers, including myself, and each donor will walk away with a FREE AMC movie ticket.
To Donate you must be:
-Between the ages of 16 and 74 yrs old (16 yr olds need parental consent)
-Be free of serious cold/flu symptoms
-At least 110 pounds

Please help save lives!!!
-Every donation can save multiple lives (white blood cells, platelets, and other componenets of blood are used)
-Every 2 seconds, someone in the US needs blood
-25% of the Bay Area's blood supply is imported from other regions in the US (tornadoes, hurricanes, or cold weather in the east affects our blood supply)
-Experience new techonology! Donors can choose to use new machines that can take double the number of red blood cells while recycling plasma back into the body (FREE T-SHIRT INCLUDED)
