Garko leaving Stanford, baseball for family, opportunity

Ryan Garko had the chance to play baseball at the highest level because of talent, determination and desire. Those traits fit in well at Stanford, where Garko played and returned to coach for a year.

Garko will be missed, but no doubt he will prosper in life outside of baseball. A fine gentleman.
