I read about this and frankly was concerned.
I hope there will be an open process in Palo Alto disclosing where the equipment boxes will go - another community's homeowners had problems with this as well as with regard to trees being cut down. Some of us have power lines and poles in our backyards and the prospect of a noticeably large piece of equipment being added is not a good thing.
All we want is disclosure and details - not a rushed deal for Google, with routine reviews being rushed and/or circumvented, as was implied by what I read.
