Friday: Benefit in memory of Amelie Le Moullac

A benefit will be held on Friday, May 16, in memory of Amelie Le Moullac, a 24-year-old Menlo School graduate who was killed while riding her bike to work in San Francisco last August.

Rest in peace. She had her whole life in front of her.

Such a shame that her family will not find any criminal justice after the police botched the investigation into her death so much that the DA is unable to prosecute the killer.

What a shame, indeed. Perhaps there could be some constructive solutions that come out of this, namely putting CCTV cameras on all of our public streets, like they do in London.

Our police and our civilians need the technological help to record the issues at hand. Maybe that will reduce the tragic events...one can only hope.
