Movie review: 'Muppets Most Wanted'

Original post made on Mar 24, 2014

A self-aware sequel to the 2011 film "The Muppets," "Muppets Most Wanted" provides more testament to the enduring appeal of the post-Vaudeville likes of Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear and the Great Gonzo, as well as the love and care they inspire in generation after generation of performers and audiences.

Every movie trailer I've seen has been hilarious. I just love Muppet silly jokes.

Remember Steve Martin as the lisping waiter/ress in the original Muppet Movie? Something like this:

Kermit: It's a myth!
Ms. Piggy: A what?
Kermit: A myth! MYTH!
Steve Martin: Yeth?!

Still cracks me up.

Remember the fork in the road?

From this movie:

"MY name, then spacebar, spacebar, spacebar, YOUR name."

I can see that one will get used a lot!

Can't wait to see it! Thanks for reviewing a kids' movie, Weekly!
