Music in the evenings at John's Cafe

Original post made by Walter Sedriks on Mar 11, 2014

Our corner café now has some booze and music - John himself doing the honours on a 12-string with some quite passable Cohen, Dylan and blues : )

Well, no good publishing deed will go....

John's Cafe will not be having live entertainment for the foreseeable future: it is not permitted under the use permit. The person who filed the complaint with the city lives next to the cafe- Geetha- and used Walter's picture as evidence that live amplified entertainment in front of an audience- you guys- 8 feet from the performer was loud? not clear.

Hope the impromptu concert that you got was OK. Thanks for coming in.
