PF Chang phone orders routed to Colorado

WARNING: Be careful with phone-in orders at PF Chang China Bistro in Palo Alto. We called in a take out at 8:40 this evening and were told that the restaurant is extremely busy and the kitchen is swamped so our food will be ready at 10. After explaining that we only had three items and asked if an somewhat earlier time is at all possible. The person on the phone asked us to hold while he would go to the kitchen and check, he returned and said that our food will be ready at 9:05. I got in the car, drove, parked, waited behind another customer placing the order. The restaurant was about a quarter full at best. The take-out cashier could not find our name or order anywhere, a manager found our order in the system right away and explained to that our phone-in order is routed to the Colorado center and that they indeed had 9:05 listed for our order to be ready but never actually transmitted our order. I still wonder how he was able to go to the kitchen in Palo Alto all the way from Colorado while we were on hold. The entire experience was a flop and a huge waist of my and my family's time. This never happens at SuHong2Go or just about anywhere else.
