For the New Year would it not be a wondrous situation if the Authorities were to hold an amnesty whereby all the gun-slinging hoods from all over the Palo- Alto area could hand in their six-shooters and try and live in a non- gun-slinging area. But are the hoods too yellow to come forward and realize the aspect of the common sense of such an issue? One would hope not.
