Can anyone report on what is going on at Alma & Embarcadero?

Original post made by Bru, Crescent Park, on Dec 15, 2013

I was driving on Alma out and back for the last half hour and there still seems to be a shutdown of Alma right at Embarcadero with police, emergency vehicles, fire, etc blocking the road.

I've never seen such a large number of emergency vehicles in Palo Alto ever, and I've been here since 1970. Still I have heard nothing from anyone or seen anything in the news.

Geez Louise people, ever heard of the internet or Google? It's in today's local PA Post paper too.

No, all of us here on the Intenet have never heard of the Internet Palo Parent ... might you think to summarize or include a link before you crow about your amazingly superior Internet savvy and logic? Thanks for nothing. I posted this last night when there was nothing on the news and nothing on here about whatever it was that you are not being helpful about and informing us of.

Also kind of ironic how from the website the Palo Alto Daily Post's motto is "News You Can't Get On The Internet".

Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund

For the last 23 years, the Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund has given away more than $4 million to local nonprofits serving children and families. When you make a donation, every dollar is automatically doubled, and 100% of the funds go directly to local programs. It’s a great way to ensure your charitable donations are working at home.
