Lanes reopen after collision on 101 in Palo Alto

All lanes of southbound U.S. Highway 101 in Palo Alto are open following a multi-vehicle injury collision Saturday morning, Aug. 17, that blocked the two left lanes, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Wasn't the police chief out hunting for drunk drivers last night? Sounds like he was looking in the wrong part of town.

I've been avoiding this section of 101 for months now, taking surface streets instead. Unfortunately, others don't have the option or don't realize that it even is an option. The number of accidents around & in the construction zone is terrifying.
