It is ironic to read this article. We are spending our tax dollas to improve the outside of our school, when in fact we are failing to respect many of our students rights and failing to provide both high school students with the same kind of counseling system. Perhaps our administrators are so busy in the construction planning that they do not have time for the essentials of their jobs: Our students social emotional and academic health. Even when they get to graduate, our students' emotional health is as bad like the ones who just came out of war only to few days later die to suicide. This happened just weeks ago. That student will not attend college, will not even get to read this article and feel proud that he graduated from PAUSD. Yes it is very is very ironic. How many more incidents like this is going to take for our PAUSD administrators to open their eyes and focus on our STUDENTS FIRST?
