Curious that the police press release says "armed robbery", not "possible armed robbery".

Also, the police say the perps were "White or Hispanic", while Palo Alto Online deletes the "White or" part of the description.

Nothing good happens after dark in Palo Alto. Use at your own risk.

Curious, thanks for your comment. The initial information of the "possible armed" robbery by a "Hispanic" robber came from our interview with a police public-information officer.

The police press release was emailed later this morning, confirming both the use of a gun and one robber's ethnic identity as either white or Hispanic. We've updated the article to reflect the press-release information.
