Man arrested in nonfatal East Palo Alto shooting

A man was arrested on suspicion of shooting another man in the leg in East Palo Alto this Wednesday afternoon, according to police.

"Just wondering": I know the victim of this shooting and I am relieved beyond belief that he is okay. By "friendly fire" you seem to imply that he had some kind of nefarious connection to the shooter. Nothing could be further from the truth: the victim is one of the kindest and most considerate young men I know.

And I have to ask - what was it in the article that lead you to make that comment? Be honest.
