South Korean school grades suffer due to smart phone addiction.

Original post made by Tibt, Esther Clark Park, on Jun 17, 2013

New study said that 30 percent of South Koreans teens are so so addicted to their smart phones that their school grades suffer.

It is so bad the government is introducing new programs to try to stop it?

My question is do we know what we are doing here?

A blurb on the 11:00 news last year stated that some teens in South Korea suffered so badly from screen addiction that they refused to leave their computers long enough to eat, sleep, or get a drink of water. Two of them passed out and later died of dehydration and exhaustion.

As in the US, many South Korean children are overweight and friendless because they get no exercise or socialization due to their screen addictions, according to the same news feature.
