Jury finds Woodside man guilty of murdering his wife

The jury in the murder trial of former Woodside resident Pooroushasb "Peter" Parineh reached a verdict this afternoon, declaring him guilty of first degree murder in the 2010 shooting death of his wife, Parima Parineh, 56, at their Woodside home.

Those from other countries don't understand the value of life in America. I knew someone who committed suicide and told the Vietnamese employees at a nail salon and they asked, "Are you sure he wasn't killed?" Life is cheap in other countries. We've got it good here.

Um, neighbor, I'm not sure if you live in EPA or Richmond, but in the rest of the country, murder is rare for the general public (not the gang-bangers/criminals). In other countries, people can get knocked- off and there are no investigations. Here, it's all over Nancy Grace and the media when someone even goes missing - it's a big deal.
