Shot at the ground? Why have guns if you're not gonna use them on these scumbags, they have guns they pistol whipped you, they can turnaround and fire on any moment and you wanna waste pecrious rounds on the asphalt? I say take them out their misery.

Got lucky.

Yet again: a gun in the home is far more likely to be used on the owner or a loved one than in self defense.

Stay lucky. The alternative sucks.

He probably shot at the ground because they were retreating and when the police came if he had shot the criminals ( like maybe he should have ) the police would be taking him into custody. As it is, EPA is so lawless I would not be surprised if the crooks don't come back and try again for revenge. This is sickening and sad.

This gentleman should get the support of all the surrounding city for trying his best to fight crime as a member of his community while following the law.

There was other info put out on this happening that had more quotes from the police. They weren't in possession of many facts and sounded somewhat amused by the whole thing. All told, it sounded like all involved were nefarious. Instead of going mano-a-mano, they went moron-a-moron. How did they know the home they targeted contained cash and guns, gee whiz.
