I read the posting of JLS mom of 2, above, removed. I wonder why? I will deeply appreciate the opportunity understand the rationale guiding the removal - that would spare the time the commenter is taking to post. Eileen 1 asked several times as well, in various situations. Seems to me that the only info that should not be allowed posted is personal info about individuals, especially kids.
I wonder if these are liability issues? Is it possible that the owner of this board is responsible as to the facts posted here? If so, is there a way to create an open board? I would, if I could.
And yes - it is off topic of the thread. sorry.
Thank you CAC parent for letting all who read these threads know about this event! Thank you for organizing!

Thank you so much for holding this great event! This is very important esp for Duveneck school. I am definitely coming. I wish I could understand why this is so bad in Palo Alto? Thanks!

This whole bullying issue is overblown. Yes, there is bullying in every public school, but hardly in PAUSD. There are a few squeaky wheels who are sending everyone into a tizzy. [Portion removed by Palo Alto Online staff.] I have two children and we have experienced bullying at Jordan and Duveneck, but the administrations gladly worked with us and we had immediate results without having to threaten them with lawsuits. We politely spoke with the principals and the bullying ended immediately. Jordan administration is constantly sending anti-bullying messages to the students.

[Portion removed.] The Jordan campus is large enough for children to stay apart from each other; if it's a real issue, the Jordan administration will allow schedule adjustments.

If a parent thinks a school can stop girls from making hostile comments or negative facial expressions, the parent is expecting too much. How can anyone possibly stop such antics?

Girls Middle School is located near Jordan and Stratford is next door for those who prefer to send their children elsewhere.

I don't understand the vitriolic postings on this thread. It shows the need to hold discussion of these issues in a safe environment. Thank you to CAC, PASS ,SEAN and WCDBPA for organizing this event.
