Local swimmers rank among the best in the Central Coast Section heading into the section prelims on Friday and finals Saturday at the George F. Haines International Swim Center in Santa Clara.

Looks like Ogren's 100 breast entry time already beats the CCS record. Breaking a CCS record during season/leagues?!?!? Crazy fast! I wonder how often that happens?!?!? My guess is it doesn't happen very often since these kids are not shaved/tapered until CCS. And he's only a Junior?!?!?!

You can only break a CCS record at the CCS meet, either in the prelims or finals. Thus, Ogren's time is not a CCS record.
