How about the six people shot this afternoon in EPA. You live in multi million dollar homes in Palo Alto and have this going on less than a mile away. No thanks.

Figuratively it's a million miles away.

This is the type of responses that the Palo A lot neighbors need to help with. NO t hanks. The kids here and their parents are struggling with many more issues than you will ever know.If you are not willing to be a part of the answer than you are more than likely part of the problem. We all need to come together to help our children get through all of these kinds of actions. We all need to be involved. It is not and us and them thing. It is truly an Us problem. There are lots of great things going on in East Palo Alto as well. I am sure that if and when it starts to spill over into your neighborhoods you will get involved then. It is only a matter of time. Million dollar homes or not....

To Disciple,
Raised in a low income family with 6 brothers and sister. My parents were always involved and we all turned out great. I was and still am involved in raising my family and we are doing well. No thanks...I don't need to get involved because the parents of these kids never did. I'm so tired of hearing that it is all our responsibility. No thanks.

Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund

For the last 23 years, the Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund has given away more than $4 million to local nonprofits serving children and families. When you make a donation, every dollar is automatically doubled, and 100% of the funds go directly to local programs. It’s a great way to ensure your charitable donations are working at home.
