This is shocking. It is unbelievable that human beings can behave like wild animals and attack a preschooler.

What a proud moment for the Taliban gang--beating up a preschooler.

Thugs, cowards. Shame on you all.

This is crazy.. Who are the parents of this child? They need to be in jail, how does a "rival gang" end up with your 3-5 year old child? & why wouldn't you come forward if your child was beaten? That's insane, something about this just isn't adding up. I find this extremely hard to believe...

It's sad to see so many ignorant people discuss something and they have no clue of what happened. God is the only one that can judge these false allegations. It's sad that people put so much energy into something they no nothing about. Use that ugly energy for something positive. Get a life!

Riiiiight - we are the ignorant ones because we are concerned about a child beaten by 2 men - men w/criminal records, known that members, including one whose father was a known criminal. But we are the ones who are negative? Typical thug spin & denial. Are you the mom who called The Weekly, or a different relative?

@Hmmm...you hit the nail on the head. "Mind your business" is for sure in denial, so yep, probably the mother. They ARE gang members (well not REAL gang members, they don't know what REAL gang members are until they live/see the real...try going to my hometown, Chicago...those are real gang members). These are some cowards that want to be bad/hard but soft little punks under their supposedly tough exterior. A 3 -5 year old? You guys are in for some real trouble when you get to prison. They don't like punks who mess with children and you will soon find out. Boy, I would love to be a fly on the wall!!!

I guess common sense isn't common anymore. My grandmother always told me a sucker is born every second. The only person who appears to be intelligent is "whocares". The rest of you are acting as your own witness prejudging and making impetuous comments based upon an unilateral thirsty newspaper article which has a great reputation for exaggerating and suppressing detail. I speak only from experience. I bet the charges don't even add up to the report. When someone has been "beaten" there are mental or physical injuries with a hospital record of some sort! The article reveals nothing of that sort! The incident happened on February the 19th yet charges were filed a month later only when law enforcement discovered the video. I'm certain the mother or relatives were contacted and observed the video so why wasn't her/their statements or comments on the video in the article?! Is it because her comments weren't going to correspond to the article?! Also, I examined another newspaper and it pronounced that the father hasn't been contacted, they didn't even interview the man and yet they hypothesize him as a "rival gang member"?! Come on people think! As for the prosecution, they care little about justice, innocence, or the truth. All they card about is gaining convictions especially towards minorities and I base that upon the facts and history of the legal system and this country.

@what you should do mind your business the only kid in this incident is the little kid whom was assaulted in this article it does not matter if it happened a year ago the fact is they did it and then had the audacity to record this act on there phone and keep it in there possesion and then get caugt with it and your right I dont know these MEN older than 18 so should be charged accordingly.Yes i am responding on something i read thats what newspapers re for and comments are freedom of speech so as i said previously throw the book at them and my back yard may be cluttered but it aint dirty I read the palo daily on a daily basis and commented on something that was heartfelt because i have a young son that I dont want to grow up hurting no one and no one hurting him and when he cant go play in his own neighborhood for being scared that some one might pass by and shoot him (his own feelings)that is a shame. They say the crime has gone down in a article the other day between the taliban and davill maybe because they have the criminals in custody already on another charge IMAGINE THAT. Also not only do I have a leg to stand on but I have four see i support all my minority and non minority neighbors regardless color has nothing to do with absolutely wrong i work for our community EPA on a daily trying to get stuff right i grew up her live here and am not moving because i want EPA to be what it use to be a great community. LIVE LIFE DONT LET IT LIVE YOU have a nice day.
