Anybody know why there are helicopters flying around nearby at 7:15 Monday morning?

They are there trying to see if anyone is sneaking into the pool again is my guess.

Sadly, it turns out to be because Caltrain struck a person. Web Link

Oh, no! Hopefully not another teen suicide?

They're still buzzing the area and it's 8:15 -- they are hovering near the tracks. How sad it is every time someone loses their life.

TV cameras are showing the Alma/Meadow intersection on live tv. They are also reporting that this is Mountain View.

Traffic must be horrendous trying to travel East/West in Palo Alto this morning.

Traffic is ok now according to local tv news. How sad that another person has been struck by Caltrain at the Meadow Crossing. An investigation is underway, Caltrain is delayed, but cars are moving freely now. Our thoughts are with the family of the person who was struck by the train, whoever that may be (doesn't appear to be a driver or passenger of a car as none was shown by the helicopter as having been involved with the collision.

Which TV station was it that had its helicopter hovering over the scene until at least around 8:30 AM?
