[Web Link Music: Palo Alto Philharmonic Orchestra concert]
The Orchestra will play Glinka's "Overture to Ruslan and Ludmilla," Tchaikovsky's "Symphony No. 2," and Rachmaninoff's "Piano Concerto No. 3" with soloist Sandra Shen. The event is Saturday, Feb. 16, 8 p.m., at Cubberley Theatre, 4000 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto. There will be a pre-concert talk at 7:30 p.m.
[Web Link Community: Benefit for Habitat for Humanity ]
This benefit will feature the band Human Parallel, the Occidental Accidentals, and teenage a cappella group Aria. Human Parallel experiments with alternative rock sounds. Aria is an all-girls group. The Accidentals are from Occidental College. The event is Saturday, Feb. 16, 7:30 p.m. at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, 2094 Grant Road, Mountain View.
[Web Link Presidential Autograph Exhibition]
There will be a free exhibition of the signatures of all 44 U.S. Presidents on original letters and documents from 1799 to date. The exhibit will show on Feb. 17-18, noon-4 p.m. at All Saints' Parish Hall, 555 Waverley St., Palo Alto.

these seem to be more modest events to go to. there is not the high cost that could go along with going to these. it is a semi-holiday weekend that can be confusing. quite a few businesses are open on monday. enjoy going to these activities and applaud patch for these notices
