SHP water polo standouts make their commits

Sacred Heart Prep seniors Will Runkel and Zach Churukian have taken steps to continue their water polo careers in college after both committed to universities this week.

If Mr. Churukian believes that MIT is an Ivy League school as implied in the article, then perhaps he should reconsider his choice of MIT...

Congrats to them both! sports guy - Churukian just said that MIT was academically rigorous (and understatement) not that it was Ivy League.

Yes palo alto mom, fyi the quote was changed from an earlier edition. Not sure how the Weekly keeps track -- no mention that the article was updated...
