Shop Talk: Palo Alto Grill opening downtown

Sorry to hear about Opalz, I loved their products, but the location just wasn't very good, for lack of public exposure.

I went over to Cal Ave to see what all the fuss was about, and the coffee cup and bagel were gone! So I guess we know who won, but it's a shame. I heard it was cute and clever, and if well-secured, what's the problem??

New restaurants are always fun, and Lavanda was an original idea. But another steak place probably is not a good idea in a city with a lot of vegetarians. Curry Up Now sounds like fun, though.

I'm with Duck walk - I've found Opal'z to be ducky and will miss its convenient, cute but hard to find location. The people there are gems and its a really community resource for those interested in the products. Great to know that we can still shop local by popping into Nature's Alley for some of Annie's products and take classes just a few miles away. Best of luck in the new local.
