Fourth of July DUI arrests drop in Bay Area

DUI arrests were down throughout the Bay Area over the Independence Day holiday, authorities said Thursday.

In addition to DUI numbers, why don't the local police also release the number of accidents during these holiday times for people involved in accidents where use of alcohol is a primary factor? These sorts of accidents are fairly small in number, generally.
