Other species of honeybees around here?

I think I'm seeing species besides the western/European honey bee in our yard. I'm not positive, but the few I've seen look rather like the Italian bee, which is a sub-species of the western/European honey bee.

Growing up here, what I recall are just the western/Euro honey bees. Does anyone know if other species of honey bees have been introduced to this area given the decline of the western honey bee?
