Loud Noise in midTown this morning

Original post made by msmartha on Apr 13, 2012

Did anyone else hear the loud sounded like an explosion around 8:30AM today? Couldn't tell where it came from - Greer Park, the PG&E substation, or Ohlone school? Any news would be appreciated. Take care!

One of our reporters is looking into it and we will post news if/when something is available. The Palo Alto Fire Department responded to a medical emergency at Embarcadero Road/Greer Road at approximately 9:30 a.m., but there is no record of a response to anything at 8:30.
