The planting of George Jr.

Original post made on Mar 20, 2012

A new oak tree was planted on Cowper Street in Palo Alto Monday, March 19, at the same site a decades-old coastal live oak -- nicknamed "George" -- was cut down in February. Palo Alto Mayor Yiaway Yeh was on hand for the ceremonial plating near Homer Avenue. Photo by Veronica Weber/Palo Alto Online.

Just thinking is right. Trees get old and die like people, if you leave them long enough they will fall over in a storm!!!So, love your Grand-mothers while they're here!!!
