What's with the motorcade?

Exceptionally large motorcade closed Oregon-Page Mill around 6 pm. Anyone know?

Not to be picky: Prime Minister. They don't have a president in Israel.

Israel has both ... and it was President Shimon Peres who was in the area yesterday.
