East Palo Alto man shot while driving

A 27-year-old East Palo Alto man has been killed in an incident in which he was shot while driving his car and his vehicle then came to rest on the lawn of a house about a block away, San Mateo County Sheriff's officials said Saturday.

A man was killed and there is only this vague, little blurb in the local paper? The headline does not even mention that he was killed. I don't understand how news gets prioritised this way. My deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Mr. Rankin

Ok, now I see the date on this story is 2004, but how did it end up on page one of the comments? I hope they caught the shooter, because there was a shooting in EPA again this week, very similar situation. Sad to see nothing has changed there since '04.
