It is easy from the FBI reports to identify the informants--particularly Daniel Kottke of Palo alto

--who today publicly acknowledged his role.

and Ms Brennan, the people from General Magic and Tina Redesse

The WSJ got these documents via the FOI--

Did Jobs get the Job?

Apparently he lost his Security Clearance in the 90s

RIP

addendum

apparently Jobs was appointed to the trade council by Bush 1

what his friends and lovers said about Jobs to the FBI is pretty shocking

What a legacy!

Apple fanboy bloggers are speculating that the "former good friend" who questioned Mr. Jobs' moral character was Steve Wozniak.

Regarding the security clearance, that was probably tied to a defense department contract at NeXT and was likely automatically canceled when the contract ended.
