It is easy from the FBI reports to identify the informants--particularly Daniel Kottke of Palo alto

--who today publicly acknowledged his role.

and Ms Brennan,the people from General Magic and Tina Redesse

The WSJ got these documents via the FOI--

Did Jobs get the Job?

Apparently he lost his Security Clearance in the 90s

apparently Jobs was appointed to the trade council by Bush 1

what his friends and lovers said about Jobs to the FBI is pretty shocking

Apple fanboy bloggers are speculating that the "former good friend" who questioned Mr. Jobs' moral character was Steve Wozniak.

Regarding the security clearance, that was probably tied to a defense department contract at NeXT and was likely automatically canceled when the contract ended.
