Woman arrested in fatal East Palo Alto stabbing

Police in East Palo Alto have arrested a woman suspected of fatally stabbing her boyfriend at their home Tuesday morning, Feb. 7, a police sergeant said.

She said she did it. Why in the world are you adding "Anyone who might have information on the case is urged to call East Palo police dispatch at 650-321-1112. An anonymous voicemail can be left at 650-409-6792" to the article?

Well, Usually, did you consider that murderers lie, so perhaps it didn't happen the way she said it did? What if she attributes her motive to something other than what it really is? What if she didn't do it & she's covering for the person who did? Gee, I'd have a lot of questions if I were the investigator, even w/a confession. Oh, & yeah - they gotta build the case no matter what, because when her lawyer gets involved, who knows - they might try to get the confession thrown out.

I love it when someone thinks that a basic question asked by seasoned investigators is silly, but that someone is really being silly.
