What do Palo Altans want in a supermarket?
Original post made by Resident on Feb 4, 2012
Midtown Safeway is still very popular with parking and lack of staples on the shelves before dinner time still a complaint. Last time I was there, a line of cars formed on Middlefield trying to get into the parking lot while others drove round in circles looking for spots.
Do we still consider boutique neighborhood stores fitting our needs or do we want a large, catchall, supermarket?
