Palo Alto toasts 'Downtown' Sandra Brown

After nearly a quarter century of patrolling the streets, testifying at trials, and counseling students, "Downtown" Sandra Brown is stepping down. The popular police lieutenant was recognized for her distinguished career Monday night.

Knew it was coming but you will be sorely missed! Thanks for all your exceptional service to the City, to the volunteers, and all the wonderful folks at the PAPD. You are one of a kind! Enjoy your retirement!!!
