UConn gains revenge, topples Stanford by 10

Nnemkadi Ogwumike scored 18 of her team-high 22 points in the second half but it wasn't nearly enough as the third-ranked Stanford women's basketball team dropped a 68-58 decision to host No. 2 Connecticut in Hartford on Monday night.

Stanford looked befuddled out there most of the night. Their game as I see it is to get it inside the paint to the posts and UConn congested that area all night long. UConn dominated on both boards. Yet Stanford was touted as the taller team. Coaching did not seem to have an offensive back up to the post positions being closed off to them.
Sarah Boothe had a good game in replacing Nnemkadi. Not sure why Greenfield had so many minutes on the floor.
Go Cardinal! Plenty of time to improve.
