Attempted rape reported at Mountain View motel

Police are searching for a man accused of sexually assaulting a female employee of a Mountain View motel on Sunday (Nov. 13).

The hotel must have surveillance cameras. Please post photos of the suspect so we can watch out for him. Blond hair in his 20s is kind of vague.

If this was a "Latino" man - this whole page would of been filled with racism, but since the discription mentioned "Blonde" - no big deal.

I agree with calistmv1. Anytime there is a non-white suspect, this forum is full of rage about the crime and calls for racial profiling. When there is a white suspect, no one cares.

Is the lack of photo or artist sketch a sign that even the media and police don't care?

I agree that if the suspect was not white, there would be racially oriented posts filling this thread.

What a horrifying incident for the victim! I am sure that there has been or will be others. He purposely lured her, demonstrating that it was a planned crime & exploiting her customer service role, but it sounds like she was cautious all along.

Kudos to this victim for getting away. I hope her employer manages somehow to keep her safer at work.
