Sounds like Dumb and Dumber. With the arrest records they will now have, they will have a much harder time ever affording their own iPads because jobs will be harder to find and not as well paying.

Stupid thing to do.

18 year old college students are not "boys". Now they are facing felony charges and will likely get expelled from college. Once you get out of jail, I hope you enjoy spending the rest of your lives saying "would you like fries with that?".

I questions the intentions behind posting this story. It's not that it doesn't matter, but the editors could've posted the story about the murder for profit in Portola Valley featured on The Almanac's homepage. That's a crime that is important enough to be on both homepages. But these thefts? Stupid, ridiculous and overall, not very important.

"Stupid, ridiculous and overall, not very important."

I think the idiots who got arested here will find this story to be VERY important, for a LONG time to come. But you are right, to the rest of us, there ARE more important events. This is more of a head-shaker.

I really don't care about the thieves. I care about relevant news, however, and this isn't relevant. This could've been sufficiently reported in the campus newspapers.

@Hmmm, You are correct. Let me just add: "yawn", or "meh".
