27th Annual Palo Alto Weekly Moonlight Run & Walk tonight

Original post made on Sep 9, 2011

Grab your running shoes! With an early harvest moon this year, it's time to celebrate with the 27th annual Palo Alto Weekly Moonlight Run and Walk at the Baylands tonight (Friday, Sept. 9). The run/walk is a classic Palo Alto tradition (now consisting of 10 and 5K runs and a 5K walk) that attracts runners and walkers from throughout the Bay Area, along with major sponsors. Proceeds benefit the Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund for local charitable organizations. ==B Related material:==

I pledge $100 to City of Palo Alto Rec foundation if city manager Jim Keene either breaks 50 minutes in the 10k or places in his 60+ age group.
