East Palo Alto marks anniversary with festival today

East Palo Alto officials will kick off the Independence Day weekend today (Saturday, July 2) with a festival and a fireworks display to celebrate the city's 28th anniversary.

Did they say a word about Pete McCloskey, who thought Blacks were ready for self rule in South Africa but not in East Palo Alto?
