University Ave. to close Sunday for music festival

World Music Day is coming back to Palo Alto for the third year on Sunday (June 19). This time, the dance floor's a lot bigger. The event is from 3 to 7:30 p.m. on Father's Day, with University Avenue closed between Cowper and High streets from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

This event was so much fun. The city should think about making University Avenue car-free every weekend afternoon. Or maybe rotate the closure to different parts of the city every week so pedestrians all over the city can enjoy not being harassed by cars.
