Scholarship winners, grads, to be feted Saturday

Fifteen graduating high school seniors from East Palo Alto, eastern Menlo Park and Redwood City will pick up $12,000 scholarships and new mentors Saturday in a ceremony organized by the Peninsula College Fund.

These bright young people deserved to be praised, not feted! We should be burning our hardened criminals at the stake, not tomorrow's leaders! Doesn't anyone care about the children?!
