SHP girls win third straight WBAL championship

Sacred Heart Prep senior Abby Dahlkemper has her bags packed and will be heading to Chula Vista in Southern California on Sunday for a week-long Under-20 national team training camp. She'll miss the Gators' regular-season finale next week against Menlo School. But, that won't be a problem for Sacred Heart.

I came as another school's parent to watch the two teams play. Priory maintained possession most of the time, but unfortunately did not find the back of the net. Both teams battled hard, and the SHP shot that resulted in a goal was actually trapped by an arm (handball not called by the referee). Still, a goal is a goal, and congratulations to the Gators on their win.
