Mayor Burt's political ambitions

Original post made by lurking on Dec 5, 2010

Mayor Burt went all the way to Cancun for a conference (paid his own way which is outstanding), and went to San Diego for a meeting with many more mayors sometime ago. There must be a reason for all of thie travel. (there he got the Governor on a call)

Is he heading for another elected office? Something must be the reason. He is certianly looking for wider audience with activities such as his support for "Friends of CalTrain".

Something is going on !!

Maybe Burt is simply being a dedicated elected official attempting to do his best and not sticking the taxpayers with the bill along the way - what a refreshing concept.

Well done Pat.

He also went to Denmark to study their bicycle lifestyle. 40% of Danes ride bikes!!!
