Original post made on Nov 26, 2010

I personally think that Measure E would have passed if the salary of the Vice Chancellor of Human Resources of the Foothill-De Anza Community College District wasn't so high.

Measure E was full of pork. It turns out that both Foothill and De Anza have millions in reserve funds because we passed a parcel tax only a few years ago.

They were just getting greedy and thought we might not notice their huge reserve funds but enough of us got smart and voted 'NO' to their greed.

Personally I was shocked at the huge salaries paid to the Chancellor and many of the long termed teaching staff. Many of them are earning over $200,000 a year, that's too much so I voted against the parcel tax and I'm glad I did.
