Yet another departure from the City Manager's office

Original post made by Just Wonderin' on Nov 8, 2010

The exodus continues - or is it more "transforming" City Hall? The City Manager's very own hand picked Executive Assistant has quietly departed for greener pastures IN THE PRIVATE SECTOR from whence she came, after little more than one year on the job reporting directly to Jim Keene. This makes two key direct reports of his "bailing" (in his own words) in the past month.

Could it be that those exaulted Palo Alto benefits aren't really so great by comparison after all? Could it be that City employees are in fact competent workers who can land jobs elsewhere? Could it be that working for Jimmy and putting up with his towering ego and temper isn't really so Keene after all?

Or, maybe, it's all of the above!

Actually, I think it's none of the above.

To quote the "Who", I think it's a case of: "Meet the new boss..... Same as the old boss...."

Sorry folks, we've been "fooled again"
