Veteran librarian named Palo Alto interim director

Palo Alto resident Ned Himmel will serve as the city's interim library department director until a replacement for retiring Director Diane Jennings is hired, City Manager James Keene announced Thursday.

I have worked with Ned Himmel and think that he is the perfect choice for interim director. Palo Alto is very fortunate that he is willing to step in.
