Sharapova already knows her opening match for Bank of the West

The entire field for the 2010 Bank of the West Classic has yet to be filled, but key players already are finding out when they'll be playing -- like three-time Grand Slam champion Maria Sharapova. She will be the featured evening match on Tuesday, July 27 at 7 p.m.

Maria,
Sorry you did not get the point that would have given you the first set against Serena Williams. That psychological jump might have made a difference, but we know she also is a determined fighter. We admire your dedication and willingness to compete in spite of having done well financially. Please keep trying to do your best. We will be coming from San Francisco to see you play.
