Palo Alto area agencies receive $240,000 in grants

The Downtown Streets Team accepted a $15,000 grant Monday evening to launch an outreach program to homeless people -- the first grant of three over the next few years from the Palo Alto Weekly's 2009-10 Holiday Fund.

Bad program for the homeless.

Poverty is not a crime and it is not an illness.
