Stanford stuns second-seeded Sun Devils

The Stanford men's basketball team finally figured out a way to beat Arizona State and making free throws was certainly not one of them. The seventh-seeded Cardinal beat second-seeded Arizona State, 70-61, in the quarterfinals of the Pac-10 tournament at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Thursday.

Could it be that the Pac-10 puts students and graduation first and is not primarily a farm club for the NBA?
