rape on Waverley Street on March 8?

Original post made by Sarah, Midtown, on Mar 11, 2010

The city police log says a rape occurred on Waverley Street on March 8. Does anyone know what part of town this was in (Waverley is a long street)? Has a suspect description been released?

It likley wasnt a "stranger rape" or a random street crime but rather the suspect was known to the victim and didnt pose an obvious threat to the community (example: spousal rape, unlawfull intercourse between two minors, etc.) If there had been a threat, the police would have released the info.
